(Source – Relaxnews) The ephemeral seaside resort, Paris Plages (Paris Beaches), is back since July 20th. Activities and animations of all kinds will be waiting for Parisians but also for tourists during almost a month. Unlike other years, the center of the event will be only between Tuileries and pont d´Arcole, mainly because of the constructions on the Georges Pompidou lane, usually free for this event.

Like every year, the public will be able to enjoy from refreshment areas, play petanque and take part of varied sports activities, from ballroom dancing to tai-chi.

The Bassin de la Villette (19th district) wont be at rest. A port will allow everyone to do some rowing, canoe-kayaking, pedal boats, but also water rolling in a plastic transparent cylinder that you must make roll in the water.

Amongst the novelties of the surroundings of Bassin de la Villete: a mini-golf court (quai de Seine), a bumpy route for mountain biking, without forgetting the brasserie La Rotonde, that will host concerts for the best Metro musicians at the end of the day.
